"Moving your body in a way that is safe and fun for you is one of the most important things you can do for your health" – Hannah

Hannah Lewis is a Physiotherapist for Yates Physiotherapy. Yates Physiotherapy and Eastside Yoga & Pilates have joined forces, and physiotherapy clinic hours are now offered at Eastside Yoga & Pilates.

Hannah completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2015 with the University of South Australia. Since then, she has been working in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a special interest and passion for Women’s Health in physiotherapy. Hannah has worked to develop her knowledge in the field and has since spent time working in outpatient Women’s Health clinics and alongside obstetricians and midwives providing care and helping new mums begin their recovery journey post-baby.

Hannah has a passion for working with women during their perinatal period; helping them to keep fit and pain-free during pregnancy with Clinical Pilates and careful physiotherapy assessment and management. She believes a safe and timely return to exercise after having a baby is absolutely essential for long term health and helps to guide this recovery journey with clinical assessment, exercise prescription and lifestyle advice.

It’s not all about the ladies though! Hannah has worked for several years in a busy musculoskeletal clinic, treating acute and chronic pains of the lower back, neck and headaches, sporting and various other joint injuries, and chronic conditions (such as osteoarthritis). Hannah will work carefully alongside you to manage an injury or condition, set goals and get you back to whatever it is that you love to do.

In 2018 Hannah completed a Certificate IV course in Pilates instruction with Breathe Education. Combining her in-depth knowledge of the traditional Pilates method with her clinical knowledge and expertise, Hannah loves using Pilates as a form of exercise to keep fit, strengthen and rehabilitate.
